CA BPC - Loan Team (Los Angeles County & Orange County)
(Entry Level & Experienced)
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of underwriting, loan origination, and credit analysis to effectively assess client needs and recommend appropriate loan products.
[Key Responsibilities]
- Coordinates the complete origination-to-funding workflow for diverse loan portfolios, ensuring compliance at every stage.
- Facilitates borrower interviews and application processing for diverse commercial and mortgage portfolios, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Compiles comprehensive financial packages to facilitate seamless underwriting and risk assessment.
- Performs comprehensive file reviews to ensure all necessary financial disclosures and supporting documents meet internal loan policy and guideline.
- Responsible for assessing the creditworthiness and financial stability of loan applicants.
- Performs initial credit assessments and loan underwriting to determine borrower eligibility.
- Evaluates applicant creditworthiness and collateral value to prepare high-quality loan submissions for approval.
- Ensures the integrity of the loan portfolio by adhering to prudent lending and mitigating credit risk through thorough analysis.
- Streamlines the closing pipeline by proactively obtaining and auditing sensitive legal documents to ensure timely funding and disbursement.
- Maintains data integrity by updating financial and collateral records while auditing loan files for accuracy.
[Qualifications]
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field).
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (both verbal and written) is required.
- Strong understanding of loan products and credit evaluation
- Responsible for full loan cycle: application, evaluation, underwriting, closing
- Strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, teamwork skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
2. Teller / Customer Service Representative Officer (40K+ 경력 등을 고려하여 인터뷰 이후 협의 가능)
(1) Wilshire Branch (3540 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 104, Los Angeles, CA 90010)- Full Time
(2) Fullerton Branch (5731 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, CA 90621)-Full Time & Part Time
(3) Olympic Branch (3360 West Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90019) - Full Time
[Key Responsibilities]
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing
- Verify cash, endorsements, identification, and transaction details
- Issue money orders, cashier’s checks, and redeem savings bonds
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and follow security procedures
- Provide customer service support and assist with account inquiries
- Offer product and service information to customers and refer to CSR or banker as needed
- Support branch operations as assigned (duties may vary based on business needs)
[Qualifications]
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Fluent in Korean and English (verbal and written) — required
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with banking systems preferred
- Prior banking or cash-handling experience preferred but not required
- CSR experience or the ability to perform Head Teller duties is highly preferred
